In 2015, after years of honing his skills in Indian cooking, Chef Sharma moved to Cambodia to share his culinary expertise. He established his first restaurant, the renowned Curry Bay Indian Restaurant, in Phnom Penh. Following its success in a bustling tourist area, he relocated to the BKK city center in 2016 and took over a new venture, Coriander Indian Restaurant, where he focused on delivering high-quality cuisine tailored not only to tourists but also to local residents of Phnom Penh. After two years of service in BKK, Chef Sharma expanded his operations to Toul Tom Poung, launching a second branch named Curry Pot. In 2021, he further extended his footprint by opening a third restaurant under the same name in Toul Kork. Today, Chef Sharma serves as the Executive Chef at Coriander Indian & Curry Pot Restaurants, overseeing quality control and operations. His authentic Indian dishes have garnered widespread acclaim, earning the admiration of Indian expatriates, local Cambodians, and international visitors alike. Chef Sharma’s passion for cooking and commitment to authenticity continue to make him a celebrated figure in the culinary world.
